Ideology Poster

The project was to create a poster of the chosen subjects.

The category that i chose to base my poster was 'Drugs'.

My ideas came from various ways from sketches to experimenting with my knowledge and liking of photography.

These are a couple of films that my poster was influenced by. Apart from the gangster films that are expected to have drugs involved, films such as Pinapple Express and other comedies was also an influence to my work due to the contrast in how these films involve drugs in their narratives.

I also looked at various drug campaigns and how they incorporate drugs to persuade drug users to stop and how it could affect you.

These are ideas that I had come up with on the PC.

This was the final idea that I had come up with.

Small Ad and Recipe Book

This project was to do two projects from the given three. Recipe Book, Memory Cards x24 and Small Ads.

I had worked with Melissa Pacheco to create our projects and we decided to choose the Recipe Book and Small Ads. We had come up with various ideas for both projects and brought them together. We were given a booklet with examples and used what was in there for example: WD25T Floorstanding Speaker Kit.

These are quick sketches just to get ideas across.

Once we got the sketches done we developed them on the computer.

This was an idea that we had come up with.

We then developed them by using different size fonts and positioning.

This is how this idea would look like in a newspaper.

However with further development we had come up with this as the final idea.

This is how it would look like as a small ad in a newspaper.

Recipe Book
The brief is to design a completely new way of using a recipe book, the form and shape had to be creative and useful - something that you don't expect from a normal 'BOOK'.

These are the ideas that we came up with.

We had then developed the initial idea.

Re-Label

The aim of this project was to change the corporate i.d. of your chosen favourite brand.

Branching from different categories from:

• Clothing Label
• Music Genre
• Sporting Activity
• Fish Finger
• Baked Beans
• Ice Cream
• Chocolate
• Kitchen Appliance
• Car Manufacturer
• Shopping Mall
• Cuddly Toy etc.

I looked at a whole vary of logos from different companies.


Then I looked strictly clothing brand logos.



Once I had chosen the subject I wanted to focus on I had thought to choose Nike, as it is one of the brands that follow in terms of new products as well as wearing their clothes and trainers.

I started by drawing out different ideas.






Once I had done with the drawings, I put them on computer and went over them using Illustrator through to my final idea.

This is the final idea that I had developed through sketches and other PC ideas.
